Ground broken for Junctions new hotel
Moeller and Weisbacher of San Antonio were awarded the contract for Junctions new hotel and actual construction began after lumber and equipment arrived. Architects Adams and Adams drew the plans with R Dean as foreman and Wagner of the San Antonio Sash and Door Co furnishing millwork. Completion is set in 120 working days with heating and plumbing let separately. The hotel will be fire proof and modern and attract vacationers and wealthy city visitors, while not harming nearby hotels. Doug Jarvis and others reported traveling to Houston by Ford.

Kerrville Wins 1927 Sheep and Goat Raisers Convention
Kerrville will host the 1927 Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association convention. Date to be set by the executive committee. Kerrville was chosen by acclamation at Del Rio, honoring Captain Charles Schreiner. The Kerrville Chamber will plan events and entertainment months ahead. Del Rio’s gathering was described as the largest since 1915 with about 5,000 visitors.

London Baptist Revival Opens With Rev Reid At London
