Spring Outing and Local Market Notes From Lubbock
Country correspondence reports Claude Kuykendall and family visiting Waxahachie for spring, camp at Luther Walton, plus multiple shipments of sheep to market in Comanche county. The piece notes low sheep prices, the economic role of livestock, local visits, a district meet in Brownwood, and Lola Cummins resigning to pursue further degree work. It also argues for a veteran bonus bill and the need for increased circulation of legal tender with safeguards.
