Robbery on the road leaves Lockporter man injured

Martin Manley, a Coke Plant worker in Lockport, was assaulted by two masked highwaymen near Dellwood park while walking home from work. He was beaten with a revolver butt and a blackjack, robbed of about $25, and left unconscious as the robbers fled. Conductor McLaughlin found him and transported him to Dr Kingston for treatment. Sheriff deputies hunt for the assailants but Manley could not identify them.
