Elks Hold Funeral For Earl Scott Deceased Brother
Funeral services for Earl Scott were held at Central Presbyterian Church with Rev Hastings delivering a Bible lesson and prayer. Exalted Ruler James J. Smiley led the Elks in the service joined by officers and members. Judge Edward G. Purkhiser gave the eulogy as music by Albert Hindle and an Elks quartet filled the ceremony. The body was escorted to Union Station and sent by Rock Island to Farrey Iowa for burial.

Typhoid Cases Rise Across State This Year
