He was rescued by his sister Pauline but inhaled paint fluid, poison set in, and despite stomach pumping he died at St Joseph's hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
Noted delegates and guests to the national convention of the American Legion opening October 30 in Kansas City. The aviation committee said lines over the country would not affect the gathering. Airplanes could be used to transport guests officials and prominent delegates to the city if needed.
