The body of Colonel J Lambert will arrive in Joliet from Pasadena California next Tuesday at 9 am via the California Limited. Accompanying are Mrs Lambert and Mr and Mrs Harry Leroy Thompson plus Mr and Mrs R Mathias. Funeral at Central Presbyterian church Tuesday at 3 pm with potential preacher Pee Fellows of Chicago. Bartleson Post G A R will oversee graveside services with a Sons of Veterans firing squad. Criminal Cases To Be Heard April 3 in Circuit Court
In circuit court this morning Judge De Selm announced that criminal cases would be heard beginning April 3. Defendants include Rebecca Kope charged with disorderly house and Andrew Sharp, Harold Smith, and Charles Hopkins charged with grand larceny of an automobile belonging to Fred Smith and Robert L. Jones and burglary of Henry Ferguson's home. Indictments were returned by the March grand jury. Bail was set at 2000 dollars.
