Fifteen Months Old Child Undergoes Appendicitis Operation

Gold Fish Globe Sets Fire To Coat At Rockdale Home

Verdicts on two deaths after inquests near Joliet
A coroner’s jury returned two verdicts last night in Joliet involving William Purdy and James Lukarich. Purdy died after being struck by two freight cars in the Elgin Joliet and Eastern yards near Meeker Avenue. Lukarich died from lockjaw after injuries from February 11 when he fell through a light shaft. An inquest into Miss Mary Sanders’s death, a 71 year old resident of 1418 Jackson Street, will be held tomorrow afternoon. she died after an automobile collision in Silver Cross Hospital.
