Man Found in Road Hit by Automobile Near Joliet
John Rutherford, a matchman at Joliet Wroughtasher Works on Meeker Avenue, was found unconscious in the road at six o'clock morning. Harry Hanson of 1414 Hanson Street saw him and drove him to the police station where he revived after medication. Rutherford said he had been struck by an automobile. efforts to locate the driver were unsuccessful. He was removed to his relatives after recovery.
