A Paris telegraph note reports Bosnian Muslims massacred 100 Christians in Predor, with Turkish troops imposing arrests.
An outrage occurred near Sharpshooters' grounds on Sunday. James Murphy, John Keely, and a youth named Guire allegedly assaulted a German man, beating him with fists and stones after an initial beer exchange. A plate-sized stone cut his face. the attackers fled, at large, with authorities urged to arrest them.
The Citizens' Corps adopted memoriam resolutions Tuesday night for John Henry Schweizer praising his dedication and qualities. They expressed deep sorrow, thanked him for future welfare efforts, and ordered copies to bereaved parents and city papers for publication.
Intelligence from London says England refuses to adhere to the Berlin Treaty memorandum arguing the deposits require surrendering the Porte. The report notes England wishes to remain unfettered regardless of future events and will not advise the Sultan to reject the proposals.

Riverside Press reports the 11th day anniversary of Conductor J C Greenman of the Chicago and Alton railroad held at his residence in Louisi ana. About sixty guests from Mexico Mo Washington Ill and other areas attended a generous gathering with gifts including a gold headed ebony cane and silver tea set. The host and hostess were praised for their hospitality and the event as one of the season’s most pleasant social occasions.
