Johnston County property appeals pace set for March mailings
Johnston County tax chief Jocelyn Andrews reported 5 676 residents appealed new property valuations representing 4 7 percent of parcels. Staff expects to finish about 66 percent in two to three weeks and mail all decision letters in the last week of March to allow informal appeals before the Board of Equalization and Review convenes April 8 for formal appeals.
