Clayton buys land for fire police station in town
The December Clayton Town Council unanimously approved paying 475000 to acquire 8182 acres on the north side of town from Walton Farms LLC for a fourth fire and police station. The deal funds from cash reserves with a closing aimed by year end and positions two stations to serve Riverwood and west Clayton.

Smithfield approves additional 16 townhouses in development
