Nine year old Joseph Beagan of 20 Railroad Avenue lies in St Francis Hospital dying from lockjaw as seventeen year old Charles Fowler of the same address is held without bail on charges of causing the injury. Fowler, arrested by Police Captain Cody, is said to have thrown a heavy iron bolt into the air on a Pennsylvania Railroad trestle, claiming whatever goes up must come down.
