The Emory Methodist Church Sunday School Department on Belmont avenue hosted a Hindoo Wedding last evening in the church. About twenty five members participated in the mock ceremony, wearing country specific costumes and performing lines under Rev. G. G. Vauce and the Sunday School teachers supervision. The event offered amusement to a large audience.
Hoboken’s real estate market shows extreme activity with over twenty new dwellings begun in the lower city district this month and plans for many more. Since March, nine large factory buildings have risen in the Fourth ward with three more slated for completion before June 1.
Martha Jordan aged twelve slipped from a drydock at Four Ot Fite Street Hoboken yesterday afternoon while with companions. John Maron a deck hand aboard the Woonaceset lowered to the water and pulled her from danger. The rescue occurred during an incident described as a near drowning.

The Lady Rainbows Bowling Club plans to bowl the gentlemen at a date not yet fixed with handsome prizes and a game ending spread. Yesterday afternoon at Columbia Hall alleys the ladies posted scores including Mrs. Pfeffer 180 and Mrs. Beln 127 among others.
Hudson Lodge No 3817 G U C O F has begun preparations for its sixth annual picnic on July 12 at Greenville Sohueteen Park. The arrangements committee led by L C Bullock, includes A R Clements, J G Grennell, George Pearsons, Edward Clark, W L Sammons, and J H Bullock.
Sunday school pupils staged a Tom Thumb wedding last night in the church room on Paetile Avenue. About fifty children performed with pretty costumes and a music program. Miss Nettie Nicholds drilled the children and Miss Gertrude Seguine presided at the affair. Proceeds aid the debt clearance fund.
Police seek John A. Peterson missing from his Germania Avenue home. He is about 31, five feet eleven inches, smooth-faced, last seen wearing a light ray suit, derby hat, and laced shoes.
Jimer Murtha of No Fourth atrest Habaken Indiana petitioned Justice Roymionr claiming his wife refused to sew an iron patch on his trousers. The justices declined to entertain the husband’s complaint.
A gas pipe leak sparked a fire in a three story brick building at 172 Fourth Street shortly before evening hours. Daniel Cole and Mr Glidise Jr. assisted in the response as crews worked to control the blaze.
