Election Board to Meet for Organization in New Jersey County
The Hudson County Election Board will meet in the morning to organize. Augustus A. Rich and Michael Coyle are Democrats from West Hoboken and Hoboken, while Joseph J. Giusto of Hoboken and Thomas M. Coughlin of Jersey City are Republicans with Frank T. Lockwood as clerk. The board is non partisan and will receive lists of election officers from county Democratic and Republican chairs. There are 185 election districts with four inspectors per district, two Democrats and two Republicans. Inspectors’ list will be announced between Sept 1 and Sept 10, with appointments for one year. Previous board work has earned general satisfaction and bipartisan praise.

The dance proceeded well with Standard Bearer Kelly and Mrs Kelly leading, and J J Gibson as floor manager with George Daly assisting.
