The Jersey City News reports last night’s Trenton rally and organization for the Senate race. Dryden Griggs and Baird vie for support with Stokes and forward, as rooms teemed with officials, candidates, and backers, while talks and alliances framed the contest.
Special to The Tormey City News reports the January 1 meeting of the State Committee in Trenton where Governor-Elect Franklin Murphy presided and longtime chairman Congressman John Gardner resigned. Senator Stukes and others were named to fill the post pending the next meeting, with the date and full lineup to be finalized.
