Frank F. Coghill, a plate engraver and prominent local musician, died by his own actions at 225 Summit Avenue. John Vesey and James Kearns were thrown from a carriage when it struck a telegraph pole near Stevens Avenue in Greenville Saturday evening. William Bratton, 42, of Pavonia Avenue, attempted suicide Saturday night by leaping into the North River near Erie Railroad Dock. Rescued by John Clifford, a railroad employee, Bratton was jailed as a disorderly person but discharged after police court proceedings showed he was intoxicated and fell overboard.

At 4 45 o clock Saturday evening J Z McCarin twenty six years old brakeman at 208 Erle street of the Pennsylvania Railroad, while a man named Arilling Kors at the foot at Witta street, fell when a locomotive came off its blocks. Engineer Magenenitus was in charge. McCarin was taken to St Francis Hospital with injuries.
