Young couple Marie Louise Wagner of Borden and William H. Thompson of Pekin were married in the city on Friday. Thompson is 22 and the bride 18.
Rev L V Rule, chaplain at Indiana Reformatory, will fill the Wall Street M E Church pulpit Sunday morning while Rev J T Scull visits his ill father in Milroy. In the evening Rev E Arnold Clegg will preach and Prof C M Marble will fill the Howard Park M E Church pulpit with a sermon on The Furtherance of the Gospel.
Reports filed in the office of county auditor Thomas L. Stoner show Ezra Prall trustee of Monroe township and Orvan Beard of Owen township handling dog fund accounts. Prall received 8597 and paid 260.50 for damaged stock plus 336.50 to the county fund. Beard received 155 and paid 70.85 for damaged stock and 84.15 to the county fund. Each case leaves a constant 100 balance in the fund.
Robert Perkins chief clerk at Coll's grocery on Chestnut Street fractured a left rib in a playful wrestling accident when he slipped against furniture. He is wearing a 23 jacket to aid healing.
