Charlestown School Building Must Close After June 15 1915

Bradley acquitted in shooting case tied to 1914 hold up
In Clark Circuit Court two cases against George H. Bradley for assault with intent to kill and to rob were dismissed on motion after witnesses could not positively identify him. The shootout occurred at Stephen Freund's saloon area on Mast Court avenue, October 17, 1914, with Captain Adams wounded and the robbers escaping by auto. Bradley had been held on $1,000 bonds and claimed to have left the city that night.
