Mrs Grover Waisner hosted the Ladies Bible class at the Harrison Avenue Methodist church Tuesday afternoon. Officers elected include president Mrs Grover Waisner secretary Mrs R L Matlock treasurer Mrs Ray Hambaugh and teacher Mrs Williard Hurst.

Mrs Caroline Gardner of Harrison Avenue near Spring Street suffered a third stroke Thursday night after earlier strokes. The 72 year old, living with her son A F Gardner, is in dangerous condition though some hope remains. She is a well known city resident.
Mrs B F Schneck will arrive from Seymour on Saturday to visit Mrs William Seibert for several days.
The Elks Apollo quintet meets an undefeated St Marys College team tonight at the Jeffersonville Armory. Fresh from a decisive win over Unity Y M I the Elks hope to redeem form as injuries and transfers eased. Mrs Henry Timmonds departed yesterday for Greenville Tennessee after a message announced the serious illness of her brother Mr George Barhans.

The indoor track meet of Troop 4, Boy Scouts at Wall Street drew a large crowd and was one of the funniest and most enjoyable affairs of the season. Scoutmaster Frank reprized the boys and entertained the venue audience.
