Mrs. Billy Wray of Marshall honored her sister Mrs. Charles Johnson with a miscellaneous shower at the M. J. Owens home Thursday night. Cake and cold drinks were served to numerous guests including Fannie Whitfield, Johnny and Claudia Harvey, Jo Ann Whitfield, Travis Lee, Clayton Huntington, Peggy, Bud, Clabhorn Whitfield, Arnold Harvey, Sam Hatcher, Dewey Whitfield, Joe and Roger Dale, Purdy family, Norma Jean Lewis, Esco Hatcher, Billy Wray and Mark Owen, and many others. Several relatives and friends from Bonham, Tyler, Jefferson, Texarkana, and Shreveport visited or stayed over the weekend.
