Tennis Lessons At Jefferson Club This August

The Jefferson Tennis Club offers four two hour lessons for children from August 9 to August 30. Instructors are Rev Tom Warring and Mrs Guy Smith. Sessions run 8 30 to 10 30 a m each Saturday with a 5 00 fee. Contact Rev Warring or Mrs Allen Burt. Courts stay open until noon for practice after lessons.

Jefferson High School coach Max Wade announces a meeting for boys in grades nine through twelve to plan football for the fall. Attendees will receive shoes and shorts. first workouts start Monday August 18 with two a day sessions to be announced at the August 13 meeting.
