Fritz Kuhn former Bund leader faces up to 40 years for grand larceny and forgery after a jury found him guilty on five counts. He showed no emotion as he was led to Tombs prison. sentencing set for December 5, with motions postponed by Judge James G. Wallace.

Colorado State College coed Lois Jeanne Vannersdel fired a .38 at her football sweetheart Walter Lyons, a 195 pound Aggie full back, in her apartment. Lyons was shot in the chest and lung, in critical condition at Larimer County Hospital after grappling with Vannersdel who fled, then returned, brought pistol, and collapsed.
