Attorney Kills Self in 17 Story Leap at Waldorf Hotel
Blair T. Scott a 60 year old attorney from Baltimore Md was found dead on the 17th floor of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel after a leap from the room he occupied. Police recovered a note to management and letters to the press and his attorney. The note expressed regret for causing embarrassment and referenced a motive to be revealed in the morning. The hotel registrar noted he checked in two days earlier.
