Miami November 8 AP Overnight transformation in the Everglades National Park region followed the Florida Keys hurricane that killed over 400. Ernest F. Coe, head of the Everglades National Park association, flew the area and reported new channels, altered shorelines, new beaches, and inland deposits. Trees suffered, but palmetto palms and red mangroves are regrowing and plant life not fully uprooted is vigorous again.
