A four month old boy, Larry L. Donahue of Kansas City, died in a two car collision on U S 50 near a curve in Lee's Summit Missouri. Edwin L. Garrison, 26, and Matthew Wherry, 26, were critically injured along with Wherry's three month old son Billy Joe. Garrison and his wife were seriously hurt. Troopers said Wherry's vehicle crossed the center line. Barbara Donahue, the victim's mother, was following in another car.
