A planned Coe raid to remove Beat Coe signs painted on Coe campus sparked a confrontation with 75 Coe men and 40 Cornell alumni aided by nearly all Cornell students. When Burgstahler arrived the melee ceased.

Yocum of Galva Authorities prepare to seek the death penalty with grand jury indictments expected Monday Bonded suspects Harry Whiskers and others confessed parts of the extortion scheme. Sheriff says Eugene Strum admitted involvement in the letter delivery as part of the alleged crime.
