Funeral services will be held in Fulton tomorrow at 2 p m for Mrs M G Franklin 79 a pioneer of Callaway County and mother of B Ray Franklin Daily Capital News advertising manager who died at her home in Fulton after a paralytic stroke. Man Aims Niagara Falls Barrel Feat

William Red Hill began a trip over Niagara Falls in a steel barrel shortly after one o clock local time. He estimated the crossing would take more than an hour and a half to reach Queens Town Ontario where he planned to be recovered from the water. Hill shifted to the American side to avoid Canadian police who planned to block the attempt.

Hammann Funeral Here Saturday

Funeral services for George Hammann will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wymore-Gordon Funeral Home. He died Thursday at the Lutheran Home for the Aged in St Louis after a long illness. Burial is in Riverview Cemetery. Survivors include five daughters and two sons, with services led by Rev. William Richter.

Barbara Frank Found Dead In Jefferson City Home

Barbara Frank a longtime Jefferson City resident was found dead in her bedroom at 307 Clay Street. Funeral services will be at St. Peter's Church at 9 am tomorrow with interment in Taos Cemetery. Her sister Elizabeth Dissen of 808 West High Street survives along with a late mother and brother Ben Frank.

Maryville Missouri reports Dr. G D Humberd county coroner seeks to stop a June 7 land foreclosure sale over a deed of trust claimed as forged. The Asbells dispute a $2350 bank note debt and contend the bank held no valid claim. The trustee named is Dr E G Trusty for the late C I Hahn former bank cashier.
