Stewart aimed for 71 jumps surpassing a Yugoslav claim and a later Argentine claim of 105 jumps.
Mr and Mrs Wijrecht at 1128 West High host guests over the weekend. William Joseph Ruprecht and Miss Tene Hoffman of Nashville Tenn. welcomed eight children born at St Marys hospital including boy and girl twins. Several couples reported newborn daughters and sons yesterday and today including Sommerer Wilbers Hill and Sapp. A birth was also noted for Mereau in Hartsburg with a daughter.
New York May 29 A former government girl Judith Coplin and her lawyer husband Albert Socolov wed in Brooklyn as Rabbi Max Felshin declared belief in her innocence despite espionage convictions. She faces up to 25 years in federal prison and awaits appeals while planning upstate honeymoon.
Geneva officials of the International Refugee Organization estimate about 10 000 persons fled from Communist countries of Eastern Europe in the past seven months. They were theoretically eligible for IRO aid but excluded in practice by a 1939 council decision. Most refugees arrived in Germany Austria and Italy after Oct 15 1939 and received no material assistance from the IRO though entitled under the constitution.

Beverly Hills AP reports a letter written by a three year old now surfaced as a potential clue to the 1947 killing of Benjamin Siegel. Police say the note mentions Miss Hiaman and another woman and was written 44 days after Siegel’s death on June 2.
Canton May 29 AP Judge George Robb Ellison of the Missouri supreme court received an honorary doctor of law degree as Culver-Stockton college graduated 23 students in its 14th annual commencement. U S District Judge George H Moore of St Louis delivered the address and received an honorary doctor of law degree. The Rev John William Lave of Washington Pa received an honorary doctor of divinity degree. The commencement exercises featured Carl A. Ahlers and Wilbur L. Tanyenllose as speakers.
Six students four girls and one boy graduate from Argyle Public School eighth grade. Names listed include Henry Willibrand director Laura Mae Reinkemeier Johanna Bruenert Mary Jane Euebbert David Vowell and Oscar Redel. Under director Joseph Lehraine and Miss Luetkemeyer the class presented a play as part of commencement.
