Tornado toll in Kansas Missouri rises to eight

Kansas City May 3 AP The toll from a series of tornadoes sweeping Kansas and Missouri Thursday night rose to eight with the death of Paul Weiss 12 of Norborne Mo in a hospital. His home was destroyed by the winds. Red Cross workers and local officials continued relief efforts with no outside aid required. Property damage near Norborne estimated at 100000. Six persons were killed there.

Meyer to face university board hearing in Missouri

Dr. Max F. Meyer head of Missouri University psychology must appear before the University Board of Curators in Columbia on May 16 for a formal hearing.
