A Missouri weekend toll of 13 deaths includes six St. Louis area residents. Notable deaths: Arthur F. McNiff 33 and Melva Baker 16 of St. Louis. Scott S. Euler 19 of House Springs in a two car crash on Missouri 30. Other fatalities include Lynn Lawrence 38 and Ronald Saunders 26 of Florissant in a head on crash near St. Louis.

Jenks Man Charged with Double Murder in Tulsa Slayings

Larry Eugene Chaney, 34, of Jenks, faces two counts of first degree murder in the killings of Kendal Ashmore, wife of a local businessman, and Kathy Anne Brown, 22, an employee at Chaney’s horse farm. He had earlier been charged with kidnapping. the women disappeared March 17 and were found buried in Sequoiah County five days later.
