Man Jailed After Gun Slaying of Policeman
In Oakridge Oregon a sawmill worker James Lford Thompson, 27, was jailed after a scuffle with Police Chief Clyde Dubell, 43, at Thompson’s home following a weekend party. Dubell died from two .38 caliber bullets. Thompson faces murder charges planned by the district attorney.
