Arrests in Bank Robbery Near Picher Oklahoma

Three people were taken for questioning in the Alluwe bank robbery that netted about $1500. Ernest Royal Thelma Royal and Chester Dykes were seized after authorities found two cars matching the descriptions. A pistol stash was found at Dykes home and $100 was recovered from Mrs Royal, with further money traced to Baxter Springs. Bank teller Don H Marsh and customer Ethel Phillips expected to identify suspects.

Man 95 Dies On Farm He Lived On For Nine Decades

Huth M. Glenn, 95, died late yesterday near Easton, Missouri, on a farm where he had lived for ninety two years. He and his father moved from what is now Jackson county in 1637. Two sons survive.
