Miss Lauri Morrow to Represent State in Teen Pageant
St Clair teen Lauri Morrow will represent her state at the first National Finals of the Miss Internationale Teen-USA Pageant in Washington DC from August 15 to 19. She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs William L Morrow and granddaughter of Mr and Mrs Donald Hunter. A St Clair High School student, she aims to become a professional tennis player.

Local men hurt in accident near Jefferson City
Two Jefferson City men were treated at Charles E. Suli Hospital after a one car crash on Frog Hollow Road. Ricky Allen Cole, 23, ran the car off the road hitting a tree stump, with passenger Theodore Robert Zumwalt, 8, injured. A separate report from Greenville, Missouri notes a motorcyclist was killed and a passenger injured when a bike collided with a pickup on U.S. 67 south of Greenville, with the rider Ernest J. Cassidy, 17, of Williamsville killed.
