Relief chiefs seek 200 million for flood drought areas
Washington June 26 AP Rexford Tugwell under secretary of agriculture and Harry Hopkins relief administrator told Senator Clark Truman and Representative Cannon Missouri Democrats they would recommend a 200 million dollar relief appropriation for drought and flood hit agricultural areas. They planned to allocate funds for rural rehabilitation seed and feed loans sub marginal land and flood control with possible aid to Missouri Kansas Nebraska and other states. Cannon called Missouri conditions probably the worst.

Former publisher of Lebanon Rustic dies at 73
Milton Fuller, 73, retired in 1998 as publisher of the Lebanon Rustic, died at his home in Lebanon Missouri. He had served 15 years as shop foreman before purchasing the Rustic in 1908 and was a longtime leader in the Ozark Press Association. Born in Chester New York.
