St Louis June 22 AP The third straight week of above normal rainfall left Missouri needing warm dry weather for corn cultivation and small grain harvest. The Missouri weekly weather and crop bulletin shows 1.44 inches of rain for the week ending yesterday versus a 46 year normal of 1.07. Since April 1 Missouri has 14.24 inches of rain, about four inches above normal. Despite rain and limited sunshine, corn conditions are fair to good with very good progress last week and plant height up to three feet. Wheat harvest is underway with some rust damage but generally good to excellent. Oats and barley are mostly good to excellent. harvests are more general in central and southern areas.
