Federal Judge Charles B. Faris named Guy A. Thompson and L. W. Baldwin as trustees of the Missouri Pacific Railroad under the new bankruptcy statute. Baldwin, former railroad president, had been in charge after bankruptcy filing. The Reconstruction Finance Corporation sought a neutral trustee to probe dealings with Van Sweringen interests. Special master Marlon Early will hear evidence. If insolvency is found, creditors gain priority. stockholders risk losing all.

Nephew of Doak Indicted on Bribe Charge

A coroner's verdict of accident was returned today in the death of Mrs. Thursa Jane Griffin 91 of Blue Mountain Mississippi from shock and injuries suffered Friday when she fell from a wheelchair while being placed in an ambulance at Union Station. She was the widow of Rev J J Griffin former Baptist minister at Mexico Missouri and had been living with her daughter Mrs Anna Lemmons at Blue Mountain. Burial will be at Troy Missouri a former home.
