Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark and Finland report double digit price gains, despite various control measures. France uses voluntary limits, while Italy and Spain see rising inflation. Belgium and West Germany also face notable rates, with Netherlands and Norway among the best performers at 7.8 percent.
