Agnew Receives Golf Bag Gift After Hitting Spectators
A Los Angeles tribute to Spiro Agnew features a white golf bag marked with a red cross, given by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors after his errant drives at the Bob Desert Golf Classic in Palm Springs. Two spectators were struck by shots, and a year earlier a drive hit pro golfer Doug Banders on the head.
