Elevator Operator Crushed To Death In Kansas City
Wade Hampton Jr aged 18 of Kansas City was killed today at the new Commercial Hotel when he looked up a shaft to watch workers and was struck by a descending freight elevator. One Death Attributed To S E Missouri Flood
Poplar Bluff Missouri reports that Vernie Scott a 19 year old resident eight miles south of Quinn died from injuries after falling from an auto while returning to his farm after helping build a levee on the Arkansas side of the St Francis river.
