Missouri Highway Commission Approves 10 Million in Bids

The Missouri Highway Commission awarded low bids totaling 10,788,945 for interstate and supplementary routes. Clarkson Construction Co. won 2,613,949 for a 7.3 mile grading and paving project near Columbia plus Route K extension. Other contracts went to J Eanal Construction, Samuel Kraus Co., Auxvasse Stone and Gravel, Porter-DeWitt, and Reno Construction for projects in St Louis County, Mansfield, Camden County, and the Lake of the Ozarks area with road widening, bridges, and controlled access paving.
