Financial market notices and obituaries mingle in chaotic column
The item blends stock market movements with a local obituary and legal notices. It notes modest gains on the New York Stock Exchange led by several large caps, mentions Sears and General Motors in losses, and cites IBM and Du Pont movements. It also reports a funeral service schedule and a legal probate notice for Beck. A state governor anecdote closes the fragment.
