A Jefferson City affair covered fashion shifts toward taller silhouettes. Designers from Sylvan Rich in New York previewed fall lines sized for women six feet and over, detailing longer waists, sleeves, belts, and bolder patterns. Local groups and clubs discussed the movement during visits with welfare organizers and a tour of a Boys Town facility, while Missouri figures highlighted growing demand and production implications.
