Weekend Accidents in State Kill Four
Four young people died in separate weekend accidents across the state. Donald Roy Abernathy drowned at Lake of the Ozarks after his sister tried to rescue him. James O Baker, aged 18, drowned in Salt River near Prankford. Simon Eppler, 19, of St. Louis County, was killed when a light truck overturned after being blinded by another vehicle. Frank Schnell, 20, of St. Louis, died when his car bounced off a safety zone in South St. Louis and rolled.
