Bowery said the pair resembled two men charged in South Dakota Nebraska and Minnesota for impersonating officers and stealing slot machines. Arrest followed a South Dakota bulletin request and a week long surveillance of Giles house. Bowery blames them for a Sedgwick county slot machine war. The fake officers raided establishments operating slot machines demanding protection money.
