Two Reveal Annapolis Bank Robbery Suspects
Willie Flowers 26 of Ellington Roy Sanders 43 formerly of Ellington confessed to participating in the Bank of Annapolis holdup yesterday in which three men took 1600 dollars. Identification by the bank’s assistant cashier led to the confession and about 1100 was found in Flowers' spare tire. A third robber remained at large, possibly surrounded in Reynolds county. Flowers had prior legal issues including a 1963 coroner’s jury exoneration for a 15 year old’s stabbing. The car used was stolen at Jefferson Barracks and tied to a St. Louis robbery this week.

PONCA CITY Okla July 17 Farmers here unwilling to sell wheat at current prices tried to barter to get something for their grain. Cigarettes that sell two for a quarter today brought tobacco shops a bushel of wheat.
