Osteopath Paul Adams Named Secretary Treasurer

Paul D Adams of Jefferson City has been named secretary treasurer of the Society of Divisional Secretaries initiating his role with the American Osteopathic Association. He serves as executive secretary treasurer of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons and attends the AO A convention at the Statler Hotel in Dallas with Dr R A Michael and Mrs Les Kennon among Jefferson City attendees. Adams’ re appointment extends his several year service as AO A affiliate official as the convention runs through the week.

Surgery on Blair Termed Successful

Governor James T. Blair of Missouri underwent successful surgery for enlargement of the prostate gland at Methodist Hospital in Rochester Minnesota. Judge Sam C. Trunk Murder Ties to West Side Crime Ring

Weekend Surpasses Holiday Fatalities

A string of weekend crashes in Cooper County, Missouri left several injured and two fatalities. Semi truck driver Horace Entrekin, 38, Alabama City, Alabama, escaped with minor injuries after braking failed and the vehicle overturned on Route 49 near Route 3. Cooler Air Moves Into Mid Missouri

Cooler air moved into the Mid Missouri area after a hot weekend. Five people were taken to Boone County Hospital after a two car collision on Highway 183 south of Reed Hill.
