Mrs Amos Carel, aged 87 yesterday, was celebrated by friends who sampled sandwiches made from fresh loaves she baked. She bakes twice weekly and mends for the family at 508 Munchberry, where she has lived many years. Her husband, former judge Amos Carel, died about two years ago. daughter Mrs Lillian Eggen and family live with her. Carel remains active in her community with 35 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
