Auto Crash Kills Man Near Poplar Bluff Missouri
Edward Erickson, 22, of St. Louis, died after a car struck the Black River bridge six miles north of Poplar Bluff. Ulysses Phillips of Clayton was critically injured with a fractured skull as rain and freezing conditions made the bridge slippery. Erickson died at 2 40 a m.
