Mrs Roberta Scott sued Guy L Byrd and Muriel Byrd over an August 26 auto wreck that killed George Scott. In a historic move the petition filed at 1 55 pm the judgment for 3750 was entered at 2 10 pm and the 3750 paid as parties consented.

San Antonio December 20 AP Headquarters of the Eighth Corps area announced that First Lieutenant Lester J Maitland, famed aviator who first flew the Pacific from San Francisco to Honolulu, will face a general court martial Monday on a charge of being drunk while under treatment in the station hospital Fort Sam Houston. The United States supplies the world with about one fifth of its chemicals.
Officers said Bigler is being questioned in Wyoming. The body had been placed under a car used to haul bed clothes about a quarter mile out in the pasture.
Dr. Bernadino Molinari, director of the Royal Orchestra of Rome, arrives in New York aboard the Conte Grande on his fourth U.S. visit to conduct several orchestras. After a week in New York he heads to Pittsburgh for another engagement then Detroit for the Detroit Symphony. He will guest conduct the New York Philharmonic from January 19 to February 22.
Gasoline prices rose by 2 cents a gallon at Standard Oil filling stations in St Louis and St Louis County on Saturday. Independent firms quickly matched the move, setting regular at 15.9 cents and high test at 18.9 cents. The Indiana Standard Oil office said the increase applies only in the St Louis area.
