Last Yearly Meeting of Council of Clubs Reports Given
Forty four delegates from thirty one clubs attended the final meeting of the year in the Free Public Library club rooms. President Mrs J H Outten presided with reports on paper collections by Mrs Czar linsky and on visits and donations by Mrs Eva Grenne man. Miss Marie Busch, instructor for the blind, spoke on district needs and vocational work. The Blind School at Ash and East High Street invites purchases of rugs and articles, praised by a government inspector for cleanliness and workmanship. Mrs Ernst Simonsen urged residents to decorate homes for Christmas with ribbons replacing cash prizes. The session closed with plans announced for the annual luncheon in early January.
